I love to shoot families, newborns, kids and teens. Inspired by the no cheese kind of family photography where the ordinary is felt to be extraordinary and beauty is seen and found in the imperfections.
I love to capture the humour, play and natural interactions that make your family and kids unique. Important life events, a family holiday or just your kids hanging out with their closest friends are all moments that make precious images that in years to come will be part of the visual story that your child can pass on to their own children.
For this reason sessions often start in your home, often at breakfast time, on a weekend and I document your family and parenting story. From there we go on an adventure, spontaneity and spirit encouraged, sand in your hair and muddy wellies, no posing guaranteed all make for great images.
Sessions can be anything from 30 minutes to 6 hours long or somewhere in between and be shot in a combination of your home and a favourite family location.
